dress rehersals: for Clark
Oct. 25th, 2009 11:33 pmMornings weren't exactly his friend, especially considering the steady relationship he'd been keeping with his personal bar. Reaching for the box of cereal atop the fridge Oliver shook it gently, listening for the level of flakes instead of actually looking. Opening it up he poured it into the bowl followed by some milk. Reaching for a spoon he turned around and leaned against the counter while he ate.
Pulling the first empty spoonful out of his mouth, he made a face, "I think the milk's gone bad."
Lifting the bowl up he sniffed at the milk, "Yeah, that's odd smelling."

"You'd think a magic castle would keep more on top of that."

Setting the bowl down, he shoved it into the sink, hearing it clunk against the bottom of the stainless steel. "Most important meal of the day, my ass."

Date: 2009-10-26 05:06 am (UTC)Shaking it off he pressed his hands to the counter and lifted himself up onto it, taking a seat. "Seriously? I thought you were low-key in Smallville, and here you are in this place and still, trying to reclaim the normal."

Date: 2009-10-26 05:10 am (UTC)"What should I do? Walk around juggling cars just to prove I'm not normal?"

Date: 2009-10-26 05:13 am (UTC)Then again, Oliver hadn't exactly been living up to the thrills and spills of the Green Arrow at all lately. Still he almost thought he could've expected something from Clark. He had at least a few free minutes in the day.

"Our world, or another's?"

Date: 2009-10-26 05:53 am (UTC)"One of those alternate things right? Where you can find another version of you that actually wears a cape?" Oliver smirked over his shoulder at Clark as he browsed the shelves of the fridge, still contemplating food.

Date: 2009-10-26 05:58 am (UTC)"Why is everyone so hung up on that cape?"
